We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Barry. Da Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.
Barry is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Da Silva.
Barry lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Barry with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Barry fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Da Silva has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ethan Barry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barry avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
The fighters circling - Barry throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Barry is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Da Silva crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Barry - the referee stops the clock and Da Silva gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Barry. Da Silva manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Barry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Da Silva manages to avoid it.
Barry misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Da Silva.
Barry will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Barry fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Barry takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barry is looking to wear down Da Silva with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Barry uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Da Silva has time to react.

Barry shoots in for a takedown but Da Silva shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Barry throws out a loose jab but Da Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Da Silva's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Barry moves out of range as Da Silva strikes.

Barry cracks Da Silva with a right hand to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Barry. Da Silva shrugs it off though.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Barry lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Da Silva has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Da Silva and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Aliyev closes the distance and clinches up with The Demon, looking for a takedown. Aliyev pushes The Demon against the ropes but The Demon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Aliyev fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
The Demon misses with a body shot
and Aliyev counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

The Demon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Aliyev, pushing him back against the ropes.
A nice left hand lands by The Demon.

The Demon jumps guard and drags Aliyev to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
