The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Transler shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Alvarez as he jumps to the side.

Transler closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Smith comes to the cage accompanied by I am The Law. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Renzo DeSilka will probably get the nod.
