Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Purcell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Crown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crown comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eminence Front kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Dominic Purcell has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dominic Purcell seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crown throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Crown checks a low kick from Purcell.
Crown fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Purcell throws a head kick but Crown moves out of range.

Purcell closes the distance and clinches.
Purcell slowing the pace effectively.

Crown breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Crown connects with the punch.

It looks like Dominic Purcell has been cut.
Purcell avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Purcell shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Crown pinned against the cage. Crown gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Purcell connects with a leg kick. Crown looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Crown clobbers Purcell with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Crown sends Purcell crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Crown is motioning to the referee to let Purcell up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

and Crown counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Marshall Noir hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Noir throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lefleaur's waist but Lefleaur gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Noir off to one side.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gordon Lefleaur.

and Carlton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Optimus Prime has been cut.
Carlton connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carlton lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Prime moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Prime is rocked!
Prime drops his hands momentarily. Carlton doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Prime staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Prime doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kyle Carlton!
