Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Boyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Osei Tutu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyd's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sub Focus - Last Jungle. Alexander Boyd had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Charalabous throws a half hearted mid kick.
Charalabous wants to slow Takahara down by chopping away at his legs.
Takahara shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Charalabous throws out a loose jab but Takahara uses good head movement to avoid it.

Takahara closes the distance and clinches up with Charalabous, looking for a takedown. Takahara pushes Charalabous against the cage but Charalabous circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Charalabous fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Takahara manages to avoid it.

Takahara closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Charalabous lands a nice hook to Takahara's body. Takahara takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Charalabous gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Takahara moves out of range of the body kick from Charalabous.
Charalabous lunges at Takahara with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Takahara's hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A jab lands there for Takahara.
Takahara is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A punch lands to the side of Takahara 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Charalabous thumps Takahara with a low kick.
Oh Takahara is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Takahara is breathing heavily.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Charalabous has cracked Takahara with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Charalabous lands another huge swinging hook and Takahara tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Takahara, before Charalabous can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kostas Charalabous! Kostas Charalabous retains his middleweight title!
Post fight, an emotional Kostas Charalabous said 'Terkkuja Seinäjoelle..'.
