The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Preuss swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cold throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Preuss's waist but Preuss gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cold off to one side.

Indrid Cold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rodrigues comes into the arena with Joe Walsh - In the City blaring out of the sound system. Branson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Meytal Cohen - Toxicity. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
