The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sapp keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
LaRusso throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Sapp closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
LaRusso lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
LaRusso connects with a nice cross there... Sapp is looking wobbly and LaRusso recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Sapp to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - LaRusso jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
