The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aspenia misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Aspenia throws a nice looking combination but Knoxville bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Aspenia connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Knoxville's hands.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Aspenia wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Knoxville is looking for a takedown.

Aspenia escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Aspenia fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Knoxville works over Aspenia's head and body with a nice combination.
Knoxville tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Aspenia swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Knoxville.

Knoxville has Aspenia up against the cage in a clinch.

Aspenia lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Knoxville circles away quickly and effectively.
Aspenia misses with a few strikes there.
Knoxville shoots in for a takedown but Aspenia shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Knoxville walks straight into a right hand from Aspenia - that's dropped him! Aspenia jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Knoxville from any more punishment! Knoxville complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nye has closed the distance and engaged Bandit in a clinch.
Bandit is trying to force a seperation but Nye has the dominant position.
Nye gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Nye working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Bandit looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Bandit misses with a punch on the inside.
Bandit throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Nye blocks it with crossed arms.
Bandit tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Nye gets control of Bandit's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nye will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lee Bandit.
Well Nye has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The fighters circle momentarily. Fist darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Slammer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fist tries to avoid it but Slammer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fist to the ground. Fist escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leather Slammer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fist thuds his right hand into Slammer's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fist looks to land a combination but Slammer avoids it well.

That was a close round but I would say that Rocky Balboa will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
