The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Costa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than De Costa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
De Costa prevents Trap from getting the reversal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trap gets back to half guard.

Trap is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but De Costa pulls his head out easily.
Trap tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Trap throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trap works his way to full guard. Good work.

De Costa tries to stand but Trap is controlling from the bottom.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jones momentarily.

It looks like Steve Jones has been cut.

Jones scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Yo parries the strikes from Jones easily there. Jones is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Yo to escape.
Yo manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Jones thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Yo's head.
Yo has hold of Jones's hands but Jones slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Joe is trying to break the clinch but Watts is controlling him.

Watts is trying to trip Joe. He has hold of a leg but Joe is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Watts persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Joe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Watts stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Watts digs a right hand underneath Joe's ribcage. Joe let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Joe is looking to break free of the clinch but Watts has double underhooks.

Watts tightens his grip and picks Joe up, before dumping him to the ground. Joe manages to land in guard.
Watts is breathing heavily.
Joe wants to stand but Watts is controlling the position.

Watts gets to his feet - Joe follows without any prompting.
Joe drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Watts right on the button. Watts goes down! Joe follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Joe gets the win via TKO!
