Adams paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Adams ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Quaid moves away.
Quaid chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Adams can pounce on him.
Quaid swings for the body but Adams moves out of range.
Adams lands a nice leg kick that just misses Quaid's sensitive parts.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Adams throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Adams cracks Quaid with a hook to the temple - Quaid is on wobbly legs here! Adams swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Quaid falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Adams wins by TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalidov tries to close the distance and clinch up but abote swats him away and circles back towards the center.
abote stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and abote wants it to stay on the feet.
abote takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
abote misses with a wild combination.
Khalidov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says abote as he avoids it easily.
Khalidov shoots in for a double leg but abote sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
david abote has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mamed Khalidov.
abote throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Khalidov showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from abote.
Khalidov throws a nice looking combination but abote bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

abote closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - abote lands in his opponent's guard.
abote won't allow Khalidov to get back to his feet.

abote decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
david abote seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
abote throws a left and a right that both miss
and Khalidov counters with a good, hard body kick but abote shrugs it off.
abote blocks a head kick by Khalidov.
abote lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Khalidov circles away quickly and effectively.
Khalidov shoots and misses
and abote counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Mamed Khalidov has been cut.
abote is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
No luck with that takedown attempt from abote.

Khalidov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Khalidov looking to sit in guard and control but abote gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
abote missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
abote stands up over Khalidov, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

abote drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and abote jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
abote postures up.
Khalidov wants to stand and escape but abote is having none of it.
abote works over Khalidov with some ground and pound from guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

abote stands and steps away. Khalidov gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

abote shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Khalidov napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Khalidov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with abote. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Khalidov is trying to buck abote off.

abote has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Khalidov is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. abote yanks on the arm and Khalidov is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by abote.

Bobo is looking for a sweep. Bergmanis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bobo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bergmanis is working away from the top position though.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bobo can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bobo is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Bergmanis jumps into side control!

Bergmanis has hold of Bobo's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bobo tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Bergmanis cranks the arm and Bobo screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bobo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
