The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcqueen keeps the fight on the outside.
Mcqueen misses with a right hand

and Katarina counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Katarina tries a knee to the head but Mcqueen blocks it.
Katarina using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Mcqueen has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Mcqueen wants the takedown. Katarina is fighting it off but Mcqueen persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Katarina's guard against the cage.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Mcqueen tries to free his leg and advance position but Katarina is retaining full guard.

Mcqueen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mcqueen has control of Katarina's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Katarina regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dziku clinches up against the cage.
Sin is trying to drag Dziku to the mat but Dziku just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Dziku breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dziku moves out of range of the body kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Dziku, right into the meat.

Dziku feints and as Sin raises his hands in defense, Dziku changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dziku accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dziku passes into half guard.
Dziku is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Sin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Dziku wants to stand but Sin has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dziku stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dziku circles away.

Damian Dziku has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xavier Sin.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dziku throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sin tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dziku is in Sin's guard.
Dziku has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Dziku wants to get up but he can't break Sin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Dziku has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sin clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Dziku tries to get the hooks in deep but Sin pushed the leg off.

Dziku is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Sin defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Sin is trying to defend against the choke here but Dziku has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Dziku Tightens the hold and Sin taps out furiously! Dziku displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

No joy there for Boulder, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Boulder connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jabbar. Jabbar circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Boulder tries to bum rush Jabbar with a series of wild strikes but Jabbar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ONeil lands the left hand.
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

ONeil forces Jones back against the cage and clinches.
Jones trying to land knees to the body.

Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
ONeil cracks Jones with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jones tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but ONeil pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jones is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike ONeil!

Brunch defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wilkes.
Brunch stuffs the takedown attempt from Wilkes. Wilkes gets slowly back to his feet.
Brunch jabs Wilkes to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Wilkes has a takedown stuffed.
Brad Brunch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Douglas Wilkes.

Wilkes with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Brunch to score with a decent uppercut.

Boulks shoots in looking for a takedown. Mackdensing tries to sprawl out of it but Boulks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mackdensing manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice takedown defense from Mackdensing. No joy for Boulks on that attempt.
Mackdensing throws a shot from downtown. Boulks moves away and avoids it.
Mackdensing leaves Boulks with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Will Boulks.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Alexander throws a nice looking combination but Van De Kamp bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Alexander throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Van De Kamp.
Alexander feints and then cracks Van De Kamp's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Van De Kamp down.

Van De Kamp shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Alexander napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Alexander is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Van De Kamp is controlling him well.

Van De Kamp is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Alexander knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Van De Kamp wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Alexander, who protects the arm well.
Van De Kamp is looking to take a break and control but Alexander is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
