Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Abrams!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dammon swings widly with a right hand
and Abrams counters with an inside leg kick.
Dammon slips under a jab from Abrams.
A cross from Dammon lands.
James Abrams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice leg kick lands there from Abrams.
Abrams throws the kick towards the body but Dammon avoids it.
Abrams throws a leg kick that misses.
Abrams lands with a thumping leg kick.
Abrams feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dammon's calf.
Abrams doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dammon takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Abrams throws a leg kick
enabling Dammon to counter with a crisp jab.
Dammon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A jab from Abrams misses.
Abrams walks into a left hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dammon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Matt Dammon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice straight punches there by Dammon. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dammon.
Dammon misses with a wild body shot.
Dammon connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Abrams momentarily.

Abrams is rocked!
Dammon throws the left hand but Abrams avoids the punch easily.
Abrams is still on wobbly legs! Can Dammon finish him?
Some wild striking there from Dammon.
Dammon weaves into range and cracks Abrams right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Abrams goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Dammon is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Matt Dammon!
A relieved looking Matt Dammon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
