Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eugene Canedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheldon Chaykin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Canedo comes to the cage accompanied by NFG - Dressed to Kill (You). Eugene Canedo had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boon shoots and misses
and Martin counters with a two punch combo.

Boon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Martin seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Boon drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Martin dives on top into guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Boon isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Martin stacks Boon on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Martin!

Boon takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Martin scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Boon is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Martin can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
