The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Majere takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Choi blocks a head kick by Majere.
Nice jab there from Choi.
Sloppy strikes from Choi. Those never looked like landing.
Majere doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Majere walks into a left hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Majere throws a low kick but it's checked well by Choi.
Choi just misses with a punch to the body.
Choi jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Choi lands with a kick to the temple. Majere shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Majere is trying to pull guard but Choi turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Choi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Choi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Choi wants it to stay on the feet.
Majere shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hongman Choi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Choi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Majere sprawling to the canvas! Majere rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Choi finish him?!

Majere is rocked!
Majere swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Choi lands a right hook to the body.
Choi scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Majere takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Choi is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Choi has closed the distance and engaged Majere in a clinch.

Majere is trying to pull guard but Choi has him pressed against the cage.
Hongman Choi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raistlin Majere.
Choi throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Majeres head.
Majere tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Choi just stands there and leans against the cage.
Nice body punch from Choi - that landed with a thud.

Choi lands a nice uppercut.

Choi tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Majere's elbow.

Choi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Majere is still on wobbly legs! Can Choi finish him?
Choi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Majere stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Majere seems to have recovered his senses.
Majere takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Majere dives in and grabs Choi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Choi pushes down on Majere's head and hops out.
Choi scores with a head kick.
Majere misses with a right hand
and Choi counters with a left to the body.
Choi's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Choi duly obliges.

That's five minutes gone in the round.
Choi throws a monster overhand right that drops Majere! Choi follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hongman Choi!
A very excited looking Hongman Choi rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Howard crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hero - the referee stops the clock and Howard gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hero. Howard manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hero.
Hero changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Crunch! Hero slams his shin into Howard's torso.
Hero lands a nice leg kick that just misses Howard's sensitive parts.
Hero lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Howard crumples to the floor! Hero milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Smith lands a big head kick that sends Reed tumbling to the mat! Smith takes a step backwards and waves Reed back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Reed is rocked!
Reed takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Smith scores with a leg kick.
Reed throws a lazy uppercut
and Smith counters with a slapping leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Smith. That's going to slow Reed down.
A head kick from Smith lands but Reed takes it in his stride.
Reed is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?
Look low, kick high! Smith uses the oldest trick in the book to send Reed tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Smith is absolutely delighted - when Reed wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Both fighters circling a little - McRiot finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Whack! McRiot lands a heavy head kick that drops Mead. The ref tackles McRiot to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Mead was done.

Ormlyr manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Ormlyr lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hitokiri backwards.

Shishio Hitokiri's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Ormlyr misses with a punch on the inside.

Ormlyr creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Hitokiri with a big uppercut! Hitokiri tries to clinch up but Ormlyr pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Hitokiri to the mat! Hitokiri covers up and Ormlyr unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

As Kelddath Ormlyr got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: dont touch me im super important'.
