The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tasz works over Douglas's head and body with a nice combination.
Douglas attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Tasz closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Douglas quickly recovers to half guard.
Tasz lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Tasz has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Douglas to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tasz is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Douglas pulls down on the head and he's put Tasz to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barreta tries to avoid it but Rivers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barreta to the ground. Barreta escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rivers lands a two punch combo.
Barreta misses with a two punch combination.
Rivers wants to clinch up but Barreta keeps it at a distance.
Rivers throws a sloppy head kick and Barreta moves out of range easily.
Rivers closes the distance and clinches up with Barreta, looking for a takedown. Rivers pushes Barreta against the cage but Barreta circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Rivers lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rivers.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rivers enables Barreta to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rivers manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Rivers misses with a takedown attempt - Barreta sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kennedy breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ryan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Ryan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
