The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kochergin defends it nicely.

Hard manages to get his head free but now Kochergin has transitioned to an armbar! Hard grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Kochergin! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kornas closes the distance and clinches.

Gallant wants the takedown. Kornas is fighting it off but Gallant persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kornas's guard against the cage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Kornas has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Gallant off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Kornas drops Gallant with a beautiful combination! Gallant stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kornas is looking for the KO!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kornas fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gallant looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Kornas cracks Gallant with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Gallant looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kornas finish him?
Marti Kornas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kornas closes the distance looking for a takedown. Gallant stuffs it but Kornas still has hold of him. Kornas picks Gallant up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Kornas slams Gallant to the floor and that's really hurt Gallant - he doesn't know where he is! Kornas throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Castle Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peyton Canning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rock might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Rogue from Scotland . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Rock walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Canning checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Canning walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Rock fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Left hook, right uppercut from Rock.
Rock misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rock moves in looking to clinch but Canning pushes him off.
Canning throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rock darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Canning is rocked!
Rock connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Canning tumbling to the canvas! Rock pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Canning was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Castle Rock!
A pretty intense looking Castle Rock took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
