With a record of 30 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Red Fox!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Higashikuni throws the left hand but Fox avoids the punch easily.
Fox moves to clinch but Higashikuni breaks away
and Higashikuni counters with a straight right hand.
Higashikuni is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fox.
Katsu Higashikuni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fox walks into a straight right hand from Higashikuni.

and Fox cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Higashikuni shoots for a double leg takedown but Fox sprawls well. He's pushed Higashikuni's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fox takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Higashikuni shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fox pinned against the cage. Fox gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fox lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

A looping hook to the body misses from Higashikuni. Fox does a little dance to reset his feet.

Fox feints a jab promting Higashikuni to slip. Fox then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Higashikuni slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Fox uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Higashikuni.
Fox fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Higashikuni manages to avoid it.
Fox drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Fox lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Fox throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fox looks to score with a jab to the body but Higashikuni is just out of range.

and Higashikuni counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fox thinking.

Fox gets tackled into the cage by Higashikuni. Higashikuni maintains the clinch.

Fox swings wildly with an uppercut but Higashikuni uses good head movement to avoid it.
