The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Negan fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Nastula checks it well.
Negan scores with a leg kick.
Nastula dives in and grabs Negan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Negan pushes down on Nastula's head and hops out.
Nastula checks the leg kick.
Nastula ducks under a wild hook from Negan.
Negan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nastula changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Negan tries to avoid it but Nastula manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Negan to the ground. Negan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Negan pivots, looking for a leg kick but Nastula is out of range and Negan settles back down.
No joy there for Negan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Philip Negan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Negan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nastula was well out of range. Poor timing from Negan.
Negan throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Nastula dives in and scores a takedown into Negan's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Nastula won't allow Negan to get back to his feet.
Nastula works a leg free and moves into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nastula seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Nastula in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Negan tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Nastula!

After the fight, Pawel Nastula was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but DeNardo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Richards connects with a body shot that sends DeNardo's belly button to the back.
DeNardo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Richards.
DeNardo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Richards circles away.
Richards tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and DeNardo is able to avoid easily.

DeNardo gets tackled into the cage by Richards. Richards maintains the clinch.
DeNardo jumps guard but Richards turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
