The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ringer lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A good leg kick by Ringer.
Sykk thows a body shot but no joy.
Sykk on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sykk finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ringer checks a low kick from Sykk.
Sykk on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ringer. Ringer obviously looking to wear him down.

Ringer drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Sykk looking for a guillotine here but Ringer defends easily.
Ringer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sykk on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sykk has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ringer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sykk is trying to keep Ringer in close.

Sykk is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ringer rolls with it to try and escape but Sykk cranks on the arm and Ringer is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Krol takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

and Allen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Allen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Allen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Krol stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Krol is breathing heavily.
Allen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Krol is rocked!
Allen circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Krol tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Allen wins by KO!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Macadam Baird.
