The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Evans, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Evans against the cage but Evans circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gracie slips under a jab from Evans.
Evans is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gracie.
Evans throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Evans as he avoids it easily.
Evans keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ryan Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Flako Gracie.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dent is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dent is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kobayashi.
