The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bo tries for a takedown but Brigo circles away easily
and Brigo counters with a right hand to the body.
Brigo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Brigo swats away the attempt to clinch by Bo.
Bo shoots for a double leg takedown but Brigo sprawls well. He's pushed Bo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Bo closes the distance and clinches.
Bo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Brigo pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for De Bo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bo lands a left hand.
Bo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bo is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Brigo will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bo up against the cage.
Bo tries to stall but Brigo uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Bo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Brigo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brigo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Bo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brigo, who protects the arm well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bo is looking to take a break and control but Brigo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brigo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brigo can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brigo keeps working.

A less than humble De Bo misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Connor misses with a double jab
and Guida counters with an inside leg kick.

Connor chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Guida can pounce on him.
Guida throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Guida walks into a straight right hand from Connor.
Connor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Connor falls off balance throwing a combination
and Guida counters with a nice leg kick.
