The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li falls off balance throwing a combination
and Eubanks counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Li showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Eubanks.
Li throws a series of punches but Eubanks avoids them all with ease.
Li looks to land a left hand but Eubanks moved out of range nicely.
Eubanks misses with a two punch combination.
Li misses with an uppercut
and Eubanks counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Li closes the distance and pushes Eubanks back into the cage.

Eubanks postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Li is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Eubanks, into his guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Eubanks has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Li doesn't defend quickly enough and Eubanks has managed to lock this one up! Can Li escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Eubanks on a fantastic submission victory.

De Ertu tries to free his leg and advance position but Tieros is retaining full guard.

Tieros has his feet on De Ertu's thighs here. He's pushed De Ertu off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! De Ertu screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Walker drops Rustow with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rustow looks back up at him and smiles so Walker waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Rustow takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Alfa looks for a takedown but Trent sprawls well.
Alfa swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Trent stuffs the takedown.
Trent plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Alf Alfa has been cut.

Alfa closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Trent's guard.
Alfa is fighting to break Trent's control of his arms but Trent is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Trent controls Alfa momentarily but Alfa frees himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alfa looking to pass the guard.
Alfa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Trent works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Trent looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Trent wants to stand up but Alfa is controlling him.

Alfa drops back, looking for a kneebar! Trent looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Trent looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Trent!

Alfa misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Alfa is trying to improve his position.
Alfa is trying to control Trent's posture but Trent avoids it.
Alfa is trying to improve his position.
Alfa throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Alfa tries to bench press Trent off him but Trent keeps the position.

Alfa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Alfa tries to buck Trent off but Trent is having none of it.
Trent knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alfa on the ground.

Trent gets to mount! Alfa was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Alfa can't escape the position.
Trent takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Alfa is trying desperately to improve position.

Trent content just to control the position here.
Trent looking to control but Alfa is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

That was a close round but I would say that Ryan Trent will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Alf Alfa's cut.
That's time! Trent's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Nice takedown defense from Trent. No joy for Alfa on that attempt.
Alfa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Trent pinned against the cage. Trent gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Alfa takes one to the chin there.
Trent feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Alfa's calf.
Alfa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Trent avoids it really well and circles away.
Ryan Trent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alf Alfa.
Alfa misses with a right hand
and Trent counters with a nice body shot.
Trent cracks the inside of Alfa's front leg.
Alfa fails to land the takedown.
Trent feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Alfa's calf.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Alfa crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Trent - the referee stops the clock and Alfa gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Trent. Alfa manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Alfa on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Alfa is breathing heavily.
Trent lands with a shot to the body.

Trent throws a series of strikes that have Alfa backpedaling.
Trent scores with a shot to the body.
Trent jabs Alfa right on the nose. Alfa blinks but takes it well.

Trent lands with a nice body punch.
Alfa is still on wobbly legs! Can Trent finish him?
Trent connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Alfa to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Trent!
