The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deans throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice sprawl there from Amin as Deans shoots in.
Amin listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Deans shoots in looking for a takedown. Amin tries to sprawl out of it but Deans keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Amin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Deans will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Amin lands a nice hook to Deans's body. Deans takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Deans shoots for a double leg takedown but Amin sprawls well. He's pushed Deans's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Deans. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Amin lands a nice shot to the body.
Deans moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Idi Amin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Amin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Deans looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Amin lands a really nice looking cross but Deans seems unphased.
Deans on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Amin lands a high kick!
Amin throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Deans's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Amin dives in looking to finish as Deans flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Amin's strikes! Amin is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Deans's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Deans was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Snake shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tank sprawls well. Tank wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Snake gets slowly back to his feet.
Snake tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tank swivels and escapes.

Snake closes the distance and pushes Tank back into the cage.
Tank tries a body shot but Snake blocks it.
Tank blocks an elbow strike from Snake.

Nice takedown defense from Dobrzynski. No joy for Tancev on that attempt.
Dobrzynski ducks under a wild hook from Tancev.

Dobrzynski drives through with a takedown into Tancev's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Dobrzynski is fighting to break Tancev's control of his arms but Tancev is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
