The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andreas shoots for a double leg takedown but Ching sprawls well. He's pushed Andreas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ching lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Ching misses with a jab, cross combination.

Ching closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ching lands in his opponent's guard.

Ching got a little sloppy there for a moment and Andreas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ching has managed to get both his arms back between Andreas's legs - danger averted.
Ching must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Andreas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ching doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Andreas is tightening it up a little... Ching has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ching reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ching taps out! nice BJJ there by Andreas!
