Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kalihib Rdan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Faria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faria has chosen Stevie B - Spring Love as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kalihib Rdan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lucas Faria!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faria shoots in and drives through. Rdan sprawls well.
Faria looks to land a combination but Rdan avoids it well.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Faria.
Faria throws a series of punches but Rdan avoids them all with ease.
Faria doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Rdan counter with a right hand.
Faria displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rdan.
Rdan lands a high kick!

Faria has closed the distance and engaged Rdan in a clinch.
Rdan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Faria has had enough of the clinch but Rdan keeps him there for the moment.
Faria is trying to push Rdan away but Rdan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Rdan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Faria fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rdan is out of range.
Faria will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kalihib Rdan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Faria.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Faria has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Rdan swats away the attempt to clinch by Faria.
Faria defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rdan.

Rdan takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Rdan rushes Faria and presses him up against the cage.

Faria breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lucas Faria seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Faria throws a combination. Rdan tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Rdan is rocked!
Faria will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Oh Rdan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Faria lands a nice looking body kick.
Rdan seems to have got his legs back now.
Faria looks winded!
Rdan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Faria.
Rdan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Faria tries to avoid it but Rdan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Faria to the ground. Faria escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Rdan has managed to clinch.

Rdan breaks from the clinch.
Rdan wants to clinch up but Faria keeps it at a distance.
Crunch! Faria slams his shin into Rdan's torso.
Faria misses with a body kick.

Faria pushes Rdan up against the cage in a clinch.

Faria manages to break the clinch.
Faria connects with an inside leg kick.
Rdan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Faria throws a push kick but Rdan slaps the foot to one side.
Faria fails with an attempt to clinch.
Faria looks to land a combination. Rdan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Rdan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm shoots in but Wille avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wille showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Storm.

Wille closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Storm quickly recovers to half guard.
Storm wants to get back to full guard.
Wille not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Wille is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Storm defends it well.
Wille with the ground and pound but Storm uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Wille connects with a couple of short punches.
Wille working some strikes from top position.
Storm is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Wille working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Wille throws a strike but Storm rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Storm wanted to stand there but Wille had control of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wille pushes Storm off and scrambles back to his feet.

Wille is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Storm.

Wille closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Storm is not content to let Wille control the position.
Storm is trying to get back to half guard.
Storm looks to move to half guard but instead Wille has passed into mount! Damn!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Wille working for a submission but Storm is keeping him at bay.
Wille lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
BOOM! Wille connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Storm is desperately trying to improve his position but Wille has a good base and remains in mount.
Storm wants to control but Wille is having none of it.

Wille can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Storm is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wille has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wille avoids the attempt from Storm to control.
Wille can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Storm is looking to escape.
Storm tries to lock up and control but Wille gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
BOOM! Wille connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Wille looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Wille lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Storm hang on?
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Storm can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wille landing strikes from the mount and Storm is in trouble!

Storm is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wille cracks Storm with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Storm is still in real trouble! Can Wille finish him?
Storm takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Wille's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
