Socrates fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brookheimer sprawls well initially but Socrates persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Krinkle shoots in for a takedown but Fortune shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Krinkle lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Krinkle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fortune.
Fortune uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Krinkle.
Fortune swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Krinkle shoots in looking for a takedown. Fortune tries to sprawl out of it but Krinkle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fortune manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Tutov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Clyde Dillinger!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dillinger drives through with a takedown into Tracey's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Dillinger throws a big right hand that misses.
Tracey keeping moving, preventing Dillinger from controlling successfully.
Dillinger postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Dillinger drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tracey manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dillinger has Tracey in his guard.
Tracey stands up over Dillinger, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dillinger can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tracey wants to get up but he can't break Dillinger's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Tracey trying to control the position from guard on top but Dillinger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dillinger escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tracey gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dillinger is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

We're going to have a standup here because Rob Tracey wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Tracey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tracey works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Tracey closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Tracey drops Dillinger with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Dillinger! Tracey dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rob Tracey!
