I think Matoshin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mortal Kombat theme. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Toshi Matoshin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Leo Vieira!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matoshin with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Vieira defending well as Matoshin loads up on a big left hand.
Vieira is trying hard to land a takedown here. Matoshin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Matoshin misses with a straight right.
Matoshin throws the left hand but Vieira avoids the punch easily.
Matoshin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Vieira gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Matoshin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Matoshin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Vieira. Vieira circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Matoshin scores with a punch to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Vieira shoots in for a double leg but Matoshin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Toshi Matoshin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leo Vieira.
A telegraphed right hand from Matoshin misses the target.
Vieira shoots in looking for a takedown. Matoshin tries to sprawl out of it but Vieira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Matoshin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Vieira misses with a takedown attempt
and Matoshin counters with a huge left! Vieira is in big trouble! He's backing up but Matoshin isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Vieira from any more damage. A dominating finish by Matoshin!

Maximus comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Maui Boy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Bain fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Maximus looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bain scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Maximus doesn't seem bothered though.

Maximus throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bain's head.
Bain throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bain is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Maximus.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kurt Bain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bain throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Maximus stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Maximus has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bain is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Maximus jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bain walks away with a smile on his face. Maximus gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bain throws a low kick, looking for Maximus's leg but Maximus calmly moves out of range.
Bain jabs Maximus to the body, keeping him at a distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bain cracks Maximus with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Maximus looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bain finish him?
Bain is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Maximus flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Maximus is out cold! Bain holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Kersikov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bruno sprawling to the canvas! Bruno rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kersikov finish him?!

Kersikov seems to be stalking Bruno here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Bruno drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Enrique Molito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Molito might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mohito. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?
