The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carneiro on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Carneiro takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ruotolo wants to slow Carneiro down by chopping away at his legs.
Carneiro gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ruotolo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Carneiro moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Carneiro has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Carneiro shoots for a takedown but Ruotolo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ruotolo.
Carneiro is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ruotolo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Naga shoots in looking for a takedown. Bond tries to sprawl out of it but Naga keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Bond manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bond lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Naga has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Naga and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bond tries to score with a low kick but Naga moves his leg out of the way.

Naga tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bond swivels and escapes.

Naga dives in and grabs Bond's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bond pushes down on Naga's head and hops out.
Bond throws the kick towards the body but Naga avoids it.

Horrible takedown by Naga or perhaps it was just good defense by Bond which made him look bad.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Bond goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bond stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bond wants it to stay on the feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bond enables Naga to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bond manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Naga connects with a nice short shot to Bond's temple.
Naga is nestled in close to Bond, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Naga wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bond keeps working.
