The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magestic works the jab nicely.
Magestic lunges at Repooc with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Repooc's hand.
Magestic comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Magestic lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Repooc is rocked!
Magestic uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Repooc.
Repooc is still on wobbly legs! Can Magestic finish him?
Magestic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Repooc manages to avoid it.
Repooc seems to have recovered his senses.

Oooooh!!! Magestic has knocked Repooc down with a huge combo! Magestic steps away and waves a wobbly Repooc back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Repooc throws a head kick but Magestic moves out of range.
Magestic swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Repooc throws a series of punches but Magestic avoids them all with ease.
Magestic moves into range and connects with a jab.
Magestic lands a nice shot to the body.

Repooc shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Repooc was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Enoch Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mantis Toboggan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oh Thompson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Toboggan and Thompson are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Toboggan throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Thompson into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Toboggan knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Mantis Toboggan really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that CEC Nutrition Q160 & Loans logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

Shonuck kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
