The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cornelius throws a hook but Eshimuro blocks it.
Eshimuro doesn't succeed with the takedown

Cornelius leaves Eshimuro with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Cornelius rushes Eshimuro and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Cornelius tries to land a knee to the head but Eshimuro blocks with his arms.

Cornelius cracks Eshimuro with a hook to the temple - Eshimuro is on wobbly legs here! Cornelius swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Eshimuro falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Cornelius wins by TKO!

In his post fight interview, Kolo Cornelius started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Odder closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Karolczak's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Karolczak is trying to improve his position.
Karolczak is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Odder's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Makosi Karolczak will probably get the nod.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Totoy Mola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Ripkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Totoy Mola had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.
