The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf thumps Tate with a low kick.
Wolf is looking to slow Tate down with leg kicks.
Tate sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Tate just misses with a punch to the body.
Tate throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wolf keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wolf lands a high kick!
Wolf throws a nice outside leg kick.
Wolf cracks the inside of Tate's front leg.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tate stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wolf.
Tate just misses with a punch to the body.
Lone Wolf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tate takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wolf lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Wolf connects with an inside leg kick.
Wolf feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tates jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Wolf lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tate's sensitive parts.
Wolf lets loose with a powerful body kick. Tate will feel that in the morning.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tate crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wolf - the referee stops the clock and Tate gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wolf. Tate manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Wolf lands a big head kick that sends Tate tumbling to the mat! Wolf takes a step backwards and waves Tate back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Tate is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wolf lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Tate crumples to the floor! Wolf milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

The crowd cheers as Volkov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Toney doesn't seem phased though.

Bin Laden had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Benny Drake enters the cage!
