The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lidae throws a shot from downtown. Turnham moves away and avoids it.
Lidae misses with a straight left.
Nice shot lands for Lidae.
Lidae looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Turnham is fending him off so far but Lidae persists. Nope, Turnham circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Turnham postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Turnham works over Lidae with some ground and pound from guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

De Camlan has hold of Grove's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Grove seems comfortable defending it but De Camlan has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Grove is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Grove is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but De Camlan couldn't care less - he's delighted!
