I think Silva might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Darude - Sandstorm . Mega has chosen Black and Yellow as his entrance music. Woo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Butler.
Woo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Butler as he avoids it easily.

Butler clinches.
Butler throws a punch but it's blocked by Woo.
Woo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Butler walks away with a smile on his face. Woo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Woo tries for a takedown but Butler circles away easily
and Butler counters with a two punch combo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Woo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Woo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Butler tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Woo is in Butler's guard.

Butler is looking for a triangle but Woo pushes his legs off easily.

Butler isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Woo stacks Butler on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Woo!

Woo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Butler defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Woo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Butler is just riding it out for now. Woo eventually gives up the hold.

Woo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Butler with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Butler is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Woo pulls his head out easily.
Woo wants to take a breather but Butler is having none of it.
Woo is really struggling to control Butler but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Butler regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Woo.

Butler escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Woo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Woo wants to pass the guard but Butler is keeping the position.

Butler wants to sweep but no luck.

Butler looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Woo passes into side control.
Woo creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Woo lands a decent elbow from side control.
Butler dodges the ground and pound from Woo.
Woo gets to mount! Butler was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Butler is looking to improve his position but Woo isn't that keen on the idea.
Woo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Woo jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Numa is working an open guard so Chelios takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Numa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Numa throws a leg kick which misses Chelios's front leg but catches the back leg as Chelios tries to avoid it.
Chelios swings for the body but Numa moves out of range.

Numa throws a series of strikes that have Chelios backpedaling.
Sloppy strikes from Numa. Those never looked like landing.
Chelios takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Numa shoots in for a takedown but Chelios shows good takedown defense.

Numa tried to score with a low kick but Chelios checks it.
Numa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chelios's waist but Chelios gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Numa off to one side.
Chelios goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Chelios connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Keiji Numa has been cut.
Numa misses with a head kick.
Numa gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Chelios gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Numa is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wain throws an overhand right that lands on Jones's shoulder, as Jones tries to avoid the shot.

A jab and a right hook connect and Wain buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Wain!! Wain is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Jones throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Boshesh shoots in looking for a takedown but Overeem manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boshesh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Boshesh tries to keep at a distance but Overeem has taken the fight into the clinch.
Boshesh wants to take the fight to the mat but Overeem manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Overeem tries to land knees in the clinch but Boshesh avoids the damage to the body.
Overeem lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

The cut above Kim Boshesh's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Overeem lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Overeem .
Boshesh is looking for a takedown.
Boshesh has Overeem pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Overeem manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Overeem gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Boshesh.

Overeem lands a vicious elbow to the side of Boshesh's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Overeem tries to finish him with strikes but Boshesh still seems able to defend himself so Overeem steps back and lets Boshesh get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

Kim Boshesh's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kim Boshesh's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
