The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orlan throws a leg kick but Jericho sees it coming and moves out of range.
Jericho is trying hard to land a takedown here. Orlan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A solid leg kick lands there for Orlan.
Jericho shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jericho throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Orlan's waist but Orlan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jericho off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rey Jericho. That's going to take a lot out of him.
