The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Read counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Read bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Read throws a nice outside leg kick.
King takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Read defends well against a solid takedown attempt from King.
Read throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
King takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

King doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Read counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Read drops King with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but King looks back up at him and smiles so Read waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

King is rocked!
Read looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Read backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks King's temple! It sends King violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Read celebrates and the doctors try to help King!
