Jackson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Newton doesn't seem bothered though.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Jackson! Newton is out on his feet! Jackson rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Newton is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Newton is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Harris throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Payne stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Payne lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Payne lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Harris falls backwards - clearly groggy! Payne dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Monsoon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Slice.
Tim Monsoon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Monsoon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slice moves away.
Monsoon throws a hook but Slice blocks it.
Slice walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Slice takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Slice could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Monsoon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
