The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diablo misses with a hook.
Diablo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Grabapple circles away.
Diablo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Grabapple takes a swing at Diablo's ribcage but misses.
Grabapple thows a body shot but no joy.

Diablo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Grabapple tries to kick Diablo off but Diablo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Zarubin tries to close the distance and clinch but Krushnov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Krushnov gets tackled into the cage by Zarubin. Zarubin maintains the clinch.

Eklund kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Troll - Trollberg. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dunn can do anything to dispel that myth.
