The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Unhinged has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Flores is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Flores tries to break free but Unhinged pushes him back against the cage.

Unhinged has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Flores clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Flores has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Unhinged has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Flores! Can he survive? No! He's out! Unhinged gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Brooks Buford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Buford stalks Koscheck and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Koscheck's face. Koscheck staggers backwards, shaken.

I think Bean might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Real American. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Bean seems to have locked his on tight now - Rodrigues screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Bean, as he picks up the win!
