Wallace comes to the cage accompanied by Braveheart. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones shoots in and bounces Wallace off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Jones is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wallace is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wallace has escaped and now he's on top!

Wallace is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wallace drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jones looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jones looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jones!

Brandao has chosen Here Comes the Boom as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis throws a big shot that misses.
Lewis throws a nice looking combination but Brandao bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lewis throws a poor cross that misses
and Brandao counters with a nice uppercut.
Lewis loads up on a big right hand but Brandao slips the punch.
Lewis throws a big shot that misses.
Lewis throws a lazy uppercut
and Brandao counters with a series of strikes. Lewis will be more careful next time no doubt.
Brandao avoids the body shot from Lewis.
Lewis throws a jab when Brandao was well out of range.
Brandao takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Brandao slips under a jab from Lewis.
Brandao shoots in for a takedown but Lewis shows good takedown defense.
A combination from Lewis does no damage.
A cross from Lewis lands.
Lewis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Brandao connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Brandao gets tackled into the cage by Lewis. Lewis maintains the clinch.
Brandao is still on wobbly legs! Can Lewis finish him?

Brandao drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lewis gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Brandao tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lewis smiles and moves away.
Ray Lewis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Brandao.
Sloppy strikes from Lewis. Those never looked like landing.
Lewis Throws a clean left jab. Lewis Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Brandao's chin! Brandao crumbles to the ground and Lewis follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Lewis!

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rampage Rampage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by How To Love. Jack Johnson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Rampage lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Johnson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Rampage sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Rampage instigates a clinch.
Rampage wants to break free but Johnson has control.
Johnson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rampage prevents it.
Rampage Rampage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Johnson.
Rampage is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Johnson has Rampage pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rampage manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Johnson tries to score a body lock takedown but Rampage shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Johnson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rampage avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Rampage.

Rampage is trying to break the clinch but Johnson has him pressed against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Rampage takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Rampage sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Rampage throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Johnson.
Johnson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rampage lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Johnson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Rampage sizes up Johnson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Johnson drops his hands for a split second and Rampage immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Johnson face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Rampage follows up with a right hand that knocks Johnson into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
