The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Field gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Field utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Field looking for a guillotine here but De Mira defends easily.
Field keeping moving, preventing De Mira from controlling successfully.

Field is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. De Mira is aware though and is defending well.
De Mira throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
De Mira postures up in Field's guard and throws a big left but Field blocks it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
De Mira working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Field's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as De Mira accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Field's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? De Mira is holding on here and Field must be using up a lot of energy. De Mira has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Field gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Louco Brutal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shogun Chuteboxe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Louco Brutal had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chuteboxe closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Brutal's guard.

Brutal escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chuteboxe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Chuteboxe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brutal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Brutal manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chuteboxe is working to get back to half guard.

Brutal is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Chuteboxe can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Brutal looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Brutal is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chuteboxe is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Brutal swings around for an armbar but Chuteboxe sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Brutal's guard.

Brutal postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Chuteboxe is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Brutal, into his guard.

Chuteboxe avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Chuteboxe looking to sit in guard and control but Brutal gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Brutal thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Brutal drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Brutal seems to have locked his on tight now - Chuteboxe screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Brutal, as he picks up the win!
