The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Chechek which made him look bad.
Chechek blocks a head kick by Jackson.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt - Chechek sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Chechek closes the distance and clinches.
Jackson wants to break free but Chechek has control.
Jackson is trying to force a seperation but Chechek has the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chechek is working for takedown but Jackson is calmly controlling the position for now.
Jackson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chechek walks away with a smile on his face. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
