Rege closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Rege is looking for a kimura but Duenas is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rege to get the leverage.

Rege wants to stand but Duenas has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Unigu Rege.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rege, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Delta comes to the cage accompanied by the tough guy song. Maddox has chosen Institutionalized - Suicidal Tendencies as his entrance music. Duece Delta had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Otto Maddox has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?
