Machida lands with a nice combination. Moreira backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Sergio Moreira has been cut.
Moreira looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Machida tries to land a front kick but Moreira steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Machida scores with a hook to the body. Moreira takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Machida circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Moreira drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Machida follows Moreira to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gunn darts in and clinches Reem up against the cage.

Reem is trying to trip Gunn. He has hold of a leg but Gunn is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Reem persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Gunn wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gunn is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Reem dives into side control.
Gunn is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Gunn wants to get back to his feet but Reem is dominant here and he's now got Gunn's back!

Gunn is squirming around looking to escape but he's just wriggling himself into more trouble. Reem sinks in the hooks and manages to tighten his grip on a rear naked choke. Gunn has no choice but to tap and Reem jumps to his feet to celebrate and slick submission win!

Monzon closes the distance but Gary moves to the side

and Gary counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Monzon is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Gary is controlling him well.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Monzon bucks up and tries to throw Gary off but instead Gary has got his back!
Gary has good solid back control here.
Let's hope that Gary has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Monzon has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
I would not like to be Monzon right now.

Gary has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Monzon is in real trouble here. Gary gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Monzon is tapping out! Gary wins by rear naked choke!

Tully feints and then cracks Gomi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gomi down.

Tully throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gomis head.
Tully lands a shoulder strike.

Tully manages to break the clinch.
Tully thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gomi if he has to take too many more of those.
