Boon bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Pounder drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pounder jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Pounder drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rose manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pounder has Rose in his guard.

Rose has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Pounder to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Rose is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Pounder pulls down on the head and he's put Rose to sleep! This one is all over!

A very excited looking Jim Pounder made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Manvel Gamburyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gamburyan's entrance music is Gamburyan vs. Brown on April 24th. A fine choice. House comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Holy Guile-The Celebration kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if House can do anything to dispel that myth.

House lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
