The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ryan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and O Leary has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from O Leary and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
O Leary looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Ryan shoots in looking for a takedown. O Leary tries to sprawl out of it but Ryan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. O Leary manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ryan shoots in looking for a takedown but O Leary manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ryan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
O Leary swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

O Leary closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ryan did well to prevent O Leary getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ryan is looking to improve his position.
Ryan regains full guard. Nicely done.

Ryan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. O Leary doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. O Leary manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ryan is on top in guard.
Ryan is pushing down on O Leary's leg trying to pass to half guard. O Leary is fighting to maintain full guard but Ryan has managed to sneak the leg through.

Ryan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ryan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so O Leary is just riding it out for now. Ryan eventually gives up the hold.

O Leary tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ryan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Ryan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by O Leary, who protects the arm well.

Ryan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ryan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Ryan has an Americana. O Leary didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ryan is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ryan hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

A very excited looking Jack Ryan made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Gibbs tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Presley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gibbs shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Presley throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Presley stuffs the takedown attempt from Gibbs. Gibbs gets slowly back to his feet.
Presley scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Presley misses with a low kick.
Presley looks to score with a jab to the body but Gibbs is just out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Donk. Presley catches Gibbs right on the button with a cross.
Gibbs's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gibbs duly obliges.
Presley lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Gibbs is breathing heavily.
Presley bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gibbs's head.

Presley keeps Gibbs at a distance using the push kick.
Oh Gibbs is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A head kick by Presley - that's a beauty! Gibbs is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Presley can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Rodrigo drops Garcia with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Garcia looks back up at him and smiles so Rodrigo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Garcia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Garcia swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rodrigo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Garcia thinking.

Rodrigo throws a low kick but Garcia moves out of range easily.
Garcia throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Garcia seems to have got his legs back now.
Garcia keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rodrigo.
Garcia takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Good shot there by Rodrigo.
Rodrigo circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Garcia to the canvas! Garcia doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Rodrigo keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hiilo Rodrigo!
After winning the bout, Hiilo Rodrigo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
