The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lincoln displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Metzler.

Lincoln lands a left and a right that send Metzler crashing to the mat, dazed. Lincoln thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lincoln clobbers Metzler with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Metzler is rocked!

Lincoln closes the distance looking for a takedown. Lincoln picks Metzler up and slams him brutally to the floor. Metzler is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!

No joy there for Vader, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Vader will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Shields takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Vader catches Shields with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Vader shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shields sprawls well. Shields wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vader gets slowly back to his feet.

Shields turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Shields manages to end up in side control.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blake Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Johnny Cash - The Man Comes Around kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Blake Kingston had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Blake Kingston has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The ref is looking closely - Rudd is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Rudd is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
