On his way into the cage it seems that Johny Bravo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Johny Bravo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravo misses with a takedown attempt - Scarpavi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Scarpavi throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bravo on the side of the head.
Scarpavi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bravo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Good shot there by Scarpavi.

Bravo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Scarpavi to the ground. Bravo is now in Scarpavi's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bravo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bravo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bravo forces his way into half guard.

Bravo seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Scarpavi is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Felix lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Babakla sprawling to the canvas. Felix follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Babakla hang on?

This has been an exciting period of action!
Babakla is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Felix's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Felix's back!

Pitpitunge comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Never Say Die kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Alecxsander Pitpitunge was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pitpitunge keeps working.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones goes for an armbar but Pitpitunge turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Pitpitunge.
Pitpitunge wants to get up but he can't break Jones's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Pitpitunge is sitting in close to Jones's body. Jones has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pitpitunge is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pitpitunge is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Jones.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kari Parisyen.

Brandt attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Wong throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brandt.

Horrible takedown by Brandt or perhaps it was just good defense by Wong which made him look bad.
Brandt shoots in looking for a takedown. Wong tries to sprawl out of it but Brandt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tom Brandt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
