The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Leanord finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Left hook, right uppercut from Leanord.

Keith closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Keith lands in his opponent's guard.
Leanord trying to keep a closed guard but Keith is proving a slippery customer.
Leanord looking to hit a scissor sweep but Keith is one step ahead there.

Leanord has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Keith is working away from the top position though.
Keith looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Keith looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Leanord with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Leanord really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Keith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Keith is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Leanord sees it coming and defends easily.

Bedford fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hardin to the ground. Bedford is now in Hardin's guard.

Hardin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bedford gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Johnny Bedford.
