The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
rajpoot shoots in for a double leg but Castronoli sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Castronoli moves into range and clinches up with rajpoot.
rajpoot has had enough of the clinch but Castronoli keeps him there for the moment.

Castronoli tries to pull guard but rajpoot won't allow it.

You can see the frustration on rajpoot's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

rajpoot's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Castronoli wants to finish this one by submission but rajpoot is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Castronoli.
rajpoot is looking to get to half guard.

Castronoli takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
