The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A head kick from Von lands but Poutine takes it in his stride.
Von keeps the fight on the outside.
Poutine shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Von but Von pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Von throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Poutine.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Von lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Von lands a nice leg kick that just misses Poutine's sensitive parts.
Von throws a sloppy head kick and Poutine moves out of range easily.

Von lands a big head kick that sends Poutine tumbling to the mat! Von takes a step backwards and waves Poutine back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Cheese Poutine has been cut.
Poutine fails with an attempt to clinch.
Von connects with a leg kick. Poutine looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Poutine drives through with a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Poutine throwing strikes from guard but Von blocks nicely.
Von wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Poutine manages to pass to side control.
Von tries to kick Poutine off but Poutine keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Von really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Poutine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Von looks winded!

Poutine is working for a submission of some sort.
Poutine has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Poutine is looking to take a break and control but Von is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Von is trying to stand back up but Poutine is controlling him

Poutine maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Von could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Poutine has cracked it and Von is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Poutine!

Kontos comes into the arena with Stelio Kontos blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Stelio Kontos has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Stelio Kontos seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Jab, jab by Evans - just one landing.
Evans leaves Kontos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kontos on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Kontos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Evans defends it nicely.
Evans blocks a head kick by Kontos.
Evans cracks a nice hook into Kontos's ribs.
Kontos walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Evans misses with a few strikes there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Evans ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Kontos could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Kontos tries a head kick but it misses.

Kontos takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Evans lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Evans throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kontos takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Evans scores with a decent looking hook.

Evans lands a left and a right that send Kontos crashing to the mat, dazed. Evans thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kontos is rocked!
Evans lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Kontos can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Evans and Kontos drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Evans.

Marcus Evans decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Phok is trying to drag Zdravkov to the mat but Zdravkov just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
