Sloppy strikes from Down. Those never looked like landing.
oz misses with a straight left.
Down closes the distance and clinches up with oz, looking for a takedown. Down pushes oz against the cage but oz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
oz scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Down doesn't seem bothered though.
oz scores with a crisp jab that stopped Down in his tracks.
oz thows a body shot but no joy.
Firefly oz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
oz scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Down shoots in but no luck this time.
oz lands a lovely overhand right.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Down seems to have recovered his senses.
oz lands with a light punch inside.
Down tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. oz smiles and moves away.
Donk. oz catches Down right on the button with a cross.
Firefly oz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
oz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

oz lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Down or not.
A nice right hand lands inside from oz.
oz misses with a short punch on the inside.
Down blocks an uppercut.
oz gets underhooks to prevent Down's takedown attempt.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lynch is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Wash is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
